How it Works of This Drum Washing Machine: The drum turns thanks to a geared motor that moves chains and gears. You can adjust the drum’s spinning speed. Inside the drum, flat brushes form a circle and there’s a hollow spiral design. The drum has three steps shaped like a polygon, and there are high-pressure spray nozzles above it. As the drum spins on four wheels, produce enters it evenly on a conveyor belt. The spinning drum makes the produce flip over and over, rubbing against the nylon brushes and each other. While this happens, high-pressure water from the nozzles washes the produce. Dirty water and dirt fall through holes in the drum into a water collection area. Since there’s no hollow spiral inside, the produce slowly moves towards the exit as it gets cleaned. The time it takes to clean the produce depends on how fast it moves from the entry point to the exit, which is controlled by the drum’s rotation speed.
